This privacy policy applies to Zesec of Sweden AB’s website The privacy policy is a living document and we reserve the rights to change it at any time. It does not constitute any agreements or other legal principles against or on behalf of any party. The latest version is always available on the website. What personal information do we collect and why are we collect it

Zesec does not collect any unique information about you (such as name, e-mail address, etc.) that visit, except when you are fully aware of this (see below: “Members of the Zesec customer portal partner portal”).

Zesec notes and saves information such as time, browser, IP address with each request. This information is saved through cookies and is used to provide you with better and more relevant information. If you do not want to allow the storage of cookies on your computer, you can turn it off in your browser’s settings. Then no cookies will be stored, but you will also not be able to use certain parts of, and other parts of the site will not work properly.

Contact form

When using any of our contact forms, you agree that we will save your specified personal information in order to handle your case. Your personal data is saved as long as it is needed but deleted after a maximum of three years.


If you have an account and log in to this site, we will create a temporary cookie file to check if your browser accepts cookie files. This cookie file contains no personally identifiable information and disappears when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also create multiple cookie files to save information about your login and your choices for designing the screen layout. Cookie files for login are valid for two days and cookie files for layout selection are valid for one year. If you tick “Remember me” your cookie will remain for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

For employees at Zesec: If you edit or publish an article, an extra cookie file will be saved in your browser. This cookie file does not contain any personal information but only specifies the post ID of the article you just edited. It is valid for 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (such as video clips, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves just like the visitor has visited the other site.

Zesec uses the Google Analytics service to track and view statistics on how the content of the site is displayed, used and downloaded. We have chosen to anonymize visitors’ IP addresses in this service, and they are therefore treated in an abbreviated condition in order to exclude direct reference to individuals.

Members of Zesec’s customer portal “partner portal”

Zesec’s Customer Portal, the “partner portal” at, is a password-protected service that is offered to you as a reseller or partner of Zesec. The purpose is to provide related documentation, download files, templates, tips and guides, news, marketing materials, support and more.
If you choose to use the Customer Portal service, we, Zesec, will have access to your personal information. It is voluntary to use the Customer Portal service, and thereby voluntarily submit your personal data to Zesec of Sweden AB.

Personal data that will be treated for members

When you use the Customer Portal, Zesec of Sweden AB will collect and process the following personal data:

– Your given name and family name
– Your company / where you are employed
– Your email address
– What documents and files you have downloaded

Purpose of the processing of personal data

The above-mentioned personal data will be processed in order to offer you as a reseller and/or partner updated information, documentation and download files from Zesec. We see it as a necessity for successful cooperation.

Legal basis for the treatment

The user’s consent is the legal basis for Zesec of Sweden AB’s processing of your personal data as described in this document.

Time for treatment and storage

Zesec will process and store your personal data as long as you as a reseller and partner use the Customer Portal service and for a period of three months after you have ceased to use the Customer Portal service.

Treatment of third party and transfer of personal data

Your personal data will only be disclosed to Zesec of Sweden AB’s personal data assistant in IT for storing the data for the above-stated purposes. Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA.

Your rights as a user

Zesec will only process your personal information in accordance with what is stated in this document, and in accordance with applicable law. You have the right to receive, free of charge after written request to Zesec, information about which personal data has been registered by you, and how these data are used, ie get the expenses handed out to you. You also have the right to request that we correct or delete incorrect information about you.

You can at any time, in whole or in part, withdraw your consent by writing to us at the email address below. Zesec has the right to delete users from the Customer Portal at any time. For example, when users cease to be a reseller or partner. Or if the partner portal and its contents are handled by users in an inappropriate manner.

Who we share your data with?

Personal Data Assistants

In cases where it is necessary for us to be able to offer our services, we share your personal information with companies that are so called personal information assistants for us. A personal data assistant is a company that processes information for our account and according to our instructions. We have personal data assistants who help us with:

IT services (companies that handle all the necessary operations, technical support and maintenance of IT solutions)

Marketing and information (newsletter service)

When your personal data is shared with personal data assistants, it only happens for purposes that are consistent with the purposes for which we have collected the information. We have written agreements with all personal data assistants through which they guarantee the security of the personal data processed and undertake to comply with our security requirements and restrictions and requirements regarding international transfer of personal data.

Third party

We will not disclose, transfer, sell or use your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes without your express consent. Of course, other rules apply if we are deemed by law or court decision to disclose and transmit data.

For how long we keep your information

For users who register on our website, we save the personal information they provide in their user profile (given name, family name, Email address, and company).
All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). The site’s administrators can also view and edit this information.

GDPR – Data Protection Regulation


The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which comes into force on May 25, 2018, is a change for many companies including Zesec of Sweden AB and its subsidiaries. We see it as not just another legal requirement but an opportunity for us to review internal processes and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures that strengthen us as a company.

GDPR gives us an opportunity to review our internal routines partly to strengthen our protection regarding personal data but also an opportunity to change our companies for increased efficiency, increased customer value and ultimately increased returns for our owners.

Implementation and Organization

Zesec of Sweden AB has appointed a project manager, DPM (Data Protection Manager) for the introduction of GDPR. Each subsidiary in turn has a DPC (Data Protection Contact) for the individual subsidiary. The purpose is to coordinate the work in order to effectively introduce GDPR in all our companies. We can benefit from economies of scale and standardize processes and routines for the entire business unit, Zesec of Sweden AB.
Zesec’s DPM informs, advises, coordinates and monitors the introduction of the GDPR. The companies will make the necessary changes and introduce the support systems needed to meet or exceed the requirements of the new legislation.

We work closely with our subcontractors to ensure that even our external suppliers that affect our operations meet the new legal requirements.
